I had a concrete lawn deer statue that one day my sister (who was 47 at the time) decided to show her granddaughter how to ride the "horsie". The horsie bucked her off and now I have the head to use as a form for my Anubis statue and the body to use for my wolf body props.
The first picture (above) is part of the 'cowboy' disaster. The
head has reinforcing steel in it and I have tried everything but the horsie
method to get the other horn off...no such luck. The second picture
is after I used the duct tape dummy method and the third picture shows
the expanding foam that I used to give the head strength. I will
be attaching this head to the chicken wire form that I made several years
back.
Below is the dressmaker dummy that I sometimes use for not only the
chicken wire forms (below middle and right) but for making duct tape torsos.
