This is the Hellhole and Lil Demon that was stationed outside the torture chamber (garage). If you look at the bottom of the picture, you will see a short section of the framework for this prop. The diameter of the Hellmouth is around 48". It is constructed of 1/2" pvc framework, covered in chicken wire and then sprayed with expanding foam. I painted the outside with a high gloss red and then went over it (here and there) with black. I formed the center opening to fit a 3 gallon plastic bucket (obtained from the local grocery store for a quarter) with cheesecloth stretched over the opening and the pulsing lights inside. We used a battery to run the lights which consisted of a turn signal and an orange tail light for a car. The battery was hidden from view around the corner inside the garage. We placed a fogger under the hellmouth to give it the look of steam. That fogger must have been possessed because when it came on, it filled the garage, the shop and could be seen over seven blocks away. In fact, several of the ToTs stated that they found out about us from the fog cloud.
