In the past week I have received requests to put off this event for an additional week.  My husband thanks you!  The mini-gathering scheduled for February 16, 2002 for a Portland has been changed to February 23, 2002 to permit  more people to attend this event.  I will keep this page updated as the work progresses.

The general idea of a mini-gathering is to meet other haunters, share ideas, show off your props, learn new skills and just have a good time.  One of the local haunters, Lloyd, has found a supplier for the talking douglas fir trees and one of the projects we would like to try is hacking the douglas fir tree to be morphed with a bucky skull (Anatomical Chart Co.) to make a talking skull.  Yes I know that you can get the talking boris but this is not quite the same.  Another possible project will be making ghoulish hands from hot glue sticks.  The materials for the douglas fir-bucky project will need to be ordered by Lloyd so please contact him.  I ordered 10 bucky skulls and they will be here in time for this event.  The trees are $20 plus shipping and the skulls are available for $6.50 each.  It will be first come, first serve on the skulls unless you reserve one early.  The glue sticks can be purchased anytime.
