Using a large Rubbermaid bowl, the cardboard rolls from paper towels, the papier mache (torn paper) method, some duct tape and a little imagination, I made toadstools for Halloween props to be used in conjunction with my Santa dolls that were barbered, butchered and re-dressed into leprechauns.  My husband (bless his unimaginative heart) told me that leprechauns are not Halloween related.  WRONG!!!  If clowns, Bill Clinton and Jim Carey can be used for Halloween then toadstools and leprechauns can.  They are not just for Saint Patrick's Day anymore.
 
 

What can papier mache and a 16" balloon get you?  Giant eggs of course.  They are also pretty good for alien heads.
