1 ea 9v battery for PIR
2 ea 8" length of 22 gauge wire  (actual length determined by prop, you may want to put the PIR away from the relay)
1 ea breadboard (about 2” square)
1 ea 5vdc relay   SPDT or DPDT
2 diodes  (Radio Slack # 1N914)
2 ea 2 prong polarized (one spade bigger than the other) extension cords (4 cords needed for DPDT relay)
1 ea 8" length of 16 gauge wire   (2 needed for DPDT relay)
3 ea large wire nuts  (6 if using DPDT relay)
hot glue  (optional to hold relay to breadboard)
solder
soldering iron
2 ea electrical appliances ( to test the whole she-bang when it’s done)  **4 things if using DPDT relay**
