The top of the wall fountain is cut using the design from Wenfield Collections for tombstones.  The backer board of plywood is actually just a door off the set of cabinets we tore out of the basement.  The arms and head were placed on the styrofoam and adjusted to the position that was desired.  Using a pencil, the locations of all bones were lightly traced on the foam.  The router dremel attachment was used to core out the slots for the bones.

The above picture show how lazy we were in attaching the skull to the plywood backer board.  One long screw, one tight attachment.  What I forgot to take a picture of was how the large tubing from the pump was split into two separate smaller tubes that followed up the arm channels, behind the jaw, up the roof of the mouth and will expel fluid from behind the two front teeth.  I used a short piece of plumber's tape that was screwed down to the area behind the mouth cavity to hold the two tubes into place for expelling fluids out of the mouth.

Here are the pre-latex pictures.  I bent the thumb of the right hand to 'snag' over the lip of the pot.  To keep the hands in place for the photo, I opened the curlicue on the end of the thumb of the left hand and hooked it into the ring finger of the right hand.  I can hardly wait to see this bad boy finished.

Cost of Materials so far....  Bucky skull $4.50 plus tax, too much for the stinking arms ($19.00), $4 for the styrofoam, backer board was free, pot was $8.99 (this was with the 40% off coupon from Michael's).  I already have the pump from the old fountain and if I did not, I could use the bilge pump I got from Walmart for $9.  Hopefully, this will get the latex coating on it but it will have to be done when it is a little warmer because even though the sun was out....it was a little chilly on this day.
