7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Introductions, personal help on prop building and breakfast

9:00 AM to 9:45 AM   Corpsing your own!!!  No Kit Demo. Instructor - Shawn Using  latex and knee hi nylon, she will delve into the unknown of corpsing a bucky skull.

10:00 AM to 11:30 AM   Axeworthy Ghost (parts list)  Bracing kit available for sale ($1.50 per wheel).

11:30 AM  to  1:00 PM Sounding off!!!  Using a Cowlacious ISD® Chipcorder® Player Board kit for the basic sound chip in lieu of something like a mimic machine, we will solder a kit together and record a file to it.  The kits with all parts (including ISD Chip and shipping) are ~$14.60.  Please order now so you can have the kit by the time you come to the Gathering.

1:00 PM to 2:00 PM  Sound Forge for the Musically Challenged (Steve Darrough)  No Kit Demo.

2:00 PM to 3:30 PM  **Faux Finishes Workshop. Henry Miller from Scream at the Beach will be demonstrating a variety of inexpensive techniques for simulating stone, wood and metal using paint, including aging process to make props look really old. A variety of sample finishes will be on display. He will also bring materials for hands-on experimentation.

3:30 PM to 5:00 PM  Do the Woochie Koochie  Instructor - Dwane  No Kit Demo.  (A.K.A. Monster Makeup.  This is a "faces-on" demo!)  I purchased several of the Frankenstein monster kits at one of the local party stores.  This is the kit that has the bolts that attach to the neck and you turn your victim green!  Please be aware that the volunteers that will receive the application of makeup will not be voluntary.  Victims have already been selected.  There are six kits....do you feel lucky?

4:30 PM to 5:30 PM   Mold and Casting Kits available for sale. Instructor - Sue (parts list)

5:30 PM to 6:30 PM   Boning Up on Your Props - Instructor - Kim  Use the Anatomical Boneyard Bucky parts to make some interesting eye candy for your haunt.  Last year, several people received wall plaques that had a soap dish and towel rack made from a bucky skull and a bucky femur.  Kim Cavner (Evil Uncle Ernie to those of you on the list) did a wonderful job last year with these props and hopefully we will have more this year!

6:30 PM to 7:30 PM   Flickering Candle Circuit (Smokey-style)  No Kit.   Demo only.  Parts list given.

7:30 PM and on: Haunter's Choice -  Visit Scream at the Beach and watch the Vancouver Fireworks Display

7:00 AM to 8:30 AM Introductions, personal help on prop building and breakfast.  Prop Show and Tell

8:30 AM to 9:30 AM  Electric Motor Animation Prop Ideas

9:30 AM to 11:00 AM  Pulling Your Own Strings  Instructor - Sue Puppet and Marionette making.  There will be a demonstration on how to incorporate the plastic easter jelly beans into moveable and poseable spider legs for a very large and menacing spider.  Also we will have a surprise FCB.....Flying Crank what??????

11:00 AM to 12:30 PM    **Flying Crank Bucky - Instructor - Vern  This will be a demo/hands on for showing how to beef up your Flying Crank Ghost until it could possibly animate a Bucky skeleton.

12:30 PM to 2:00 PM  **Motion Detectors into Sensors Instructor - Vern  Learn how to  modify a motion detector light into a sensor for your own props.  For those haunters who are constructing the Banging Box, this will be your sensor that is installed in the box.
Smokey will be doing the modification of the Quorum PIRs that I got on clearance.  See how to build your own pop up or sit up props using 1/2" pvc, pvc couplings and an inexpensive bicycle pump.

2:00 PM to 3:30 PM  **Banging Box   Kits available for sale. Instructor - Dwane  (Simple, Easy Monster in The Box) Using the modified motion detector you build, construct the SEMITB.  Kits are $25 each.  Please remember this does not include your sound portion of this prop.

3:30 PM to 5:00 PM  Oh-Blow it out Your Air Cannon!  Kits available for sale. Lloyd will drag you kicking and screaming  through the perils of building your own air cannon from fire extinguishers.

5:00 PM to ? PM  Surprise Event (Dinner and an evening SHOW)  Then afterwards, enjoy a bonfire, marshmallow roast and scary stories!!!  (Remember that we have a noise curfew of 10:00 PM)

7:00 AM to 8:00 AM   Personal help on prop building and breakfast.

8:00 AM to 9:30 AM  Make your own Pepper's Ghost - Transformation Box/Columns/Pillars  No Kit. Demo only. I am hoping to get the transformation columns cut and assembled by gathering time.  I will be giving out the dimensions that I used to build mine.  I am sure that once you see how easy this is, you will be able to take the drawings provided and build one or two for yourself.

9:30 AM to 11:00 AM    **Hot Glue Web Shooter Instructor - Eric Sturgis  Kits available for sale.

11:00 AM to 1:00 PM   FrightFest NorthWest annual review of the gathering and update on current Halloween events in the Northwest.

**Clean up will be completed by 12:30 PM.
